| MORE ABOUT SUGAR |
Sugar, the sweet killer, more addictive than smoking and more deadly than a scorpion. Most people do not die from scorpion bites and if bitten several times over a period of time you can build up an immunity to scorpion venom. You can never build up an immunity to sugar. The more sugar you consume the more acidic your body becomes and the less and less oxygen can make it into your cells. It is not the sugar in natural whole uncooked food, like fruit, that is the problem. It is the sugar we add to water and dead food (cooked food) that turns our bodies acidic. It is the big gulp soda pop generation that is starting to fill the hospitals. I said earlier that the average American eats over one hundred pounds of sugar a year. That is a twenty-five year old statistic. I dread to think how much sugar the average American is consuming now. If you think sugar is not addictive, try not to consume any sugar for one week. Your doctor has nothing in his bag of tricks, to fight disease, that will do more for you than eliminating sugar from your diet. Remember cancer thrives in acid and dies in an alkaline base. Sugar is cancer food! If you would like to read more about sugar, try: SUGAR BLUES by William F. Dufty. SUGAR, CURSE of CIVILIZATION by J. I. Rodale |
